lotus & ash was asked to design the stanford senior formal poster, and the stanford athlete formal poster... the first was held at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, and featured the museum's art...
the second was held in the Oak Room in the Tressider Student Union...and featured a "club-like" atmosphere...
like I said, two very different formals, two very different posters.
the lotus & ash factory, i.e. my dorm room, was covered in paper producing a new line of thank you cards, birthday greeting cards, and 3 new designs, including cheetah print. new packaging completes the L&A look with a simple aluminum tin to display and hold not-yet-used stationery.

spring has arrived, and with it, come new floral and bright designs, as well as a new masculine design for your handyman. a set of handmade greeting cards with asian accents for an international customer adds to the lotus&ash collection wishing recipients the happiest of birthdays around the world.

the giving tree, stanford sophomore class presidents and cabinet, present the oh ten talent show and shadow a student day, events designed to positively impact the east palo alto community. adobe illustrator + photoshop become even closer friends, as new techniques are discovered and previous methods are honed.

for 20 years, i have celebrated my birthday on st. patrick's day. this year, things may or may not have been the same. nevertheless this year's birthday fell on the first day of winter quarter finals, so after a weekend of celebrating with dinner, a study-picnic (see below) and plenty of carefully chosen cards, i spent the day doing things that make me happy:
1. waking up early
2. visiting the cantor
3. designing, in the sun
4. making stationery (see "GRATITUDE")
5. run: lake lag > the dish > stanford ave.
6. laundry
7. procrastinating with a blog post, and a facebook album.
