THE TEAM

Ashling Loh-Doyle Nunnelly, Founder + Creative Director

Ashling Loh-Doyle founded Lotus & Ash with the hope that she could craft meaningful designs to help businesses thrive and to celebrate life's greatest milestones. After 5 years of branding and design in Silicon Valley, working at Palantir, she made her side hustle her full-time hustle in 2015 and hasn’t looked back.

Ashling graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Studio Art from Stanford University. After 10 years in the Bay, she relocated from San Francisco back to her hometown of Los Angeles, and spends as much time as possible traveling the world.  Getting married to her husband Andrew was a design dream come true and a love story over a decade in the making. They welcomed their son, Frazier, in the summer of 2020.

Sofia Leggio
Studio Manager + Designer

Sofia joined the L&A team in early 2019 as a studio assistant and illustrator. Sofia is responsible for the custom illustrations that make each design unique, and is an expert when it comes to fine stationery production and assembly.

After a nomadic upbringing, with any spare time spent doodling and crafting, she came to Los Angeles to study at Loyola Marymount University. She graduated with a degree in English and French, then briefly taught middle school social studies in Brooklyn. Feeling like it was time to put down some roots at last, she came back to LA, and now makes a living doodling and crafting.

We pledge to be an active participant in the collective journey to overcome the fear of difference and replace it with the power of inclusion.
